During the social event, Prof. Ignacio Moriyón will deliver a Lectio magistralis on “Brucellosis and OneHealth: inherited and future challenges”.
TERAMO, ITALY, SEPTEMBER 16 – 19, 2022
Purpose: To offset costs associated with participation in the 2022 Brucellosis International
Research Conference. Sponsored by Brucellosis Society Training and Development Program
Grants.
Eligibility: Open to all researchers; graduate students, post-doctoral students, and new
investigators will be given priority as well as individuals from resource-limited settings. Abstract
acceptance for a talk or poster is required for consideration.
Award: Equivalent to $500 USD. Award distribution may be in the form of registration and
hotel payment or a cash award. It is estimated that ten (10) grants will be awarded.
Deadline: Application and abstract submission due by June 30, 2022. See the conference
website for abstract details. (brucellosis2022.izs.it). Abstract should be submitted according to
the website instructions; a copy should accompany the grant application.
Notification: Once the abstract is accepted, the application will be reviewed; and a committee
will choose the award winning presentations. Notification will be given when the abstract
selection is complete.
Application Process: The attached application form and the abstract copy should be sent via
email to shagius@agcenter.lsu.edu and vhardy@cvm.tamu.edu no later than June 30, 2022.
Receipt will be acknowledged but does not guarantee acceptance.
The Scientific Committee invites all interested individuals to submit abstracts for the Brucellosis 2022 International Research Conference. Accepted abstracts will be presented either in oral or poster format.
